Rep. James to Newsmax: US Must Stand for Israel, Against Antisemitism
Americans and their lawmakers must speak out in the “most strenuous terms possible” against antisemitism, and members of Congress have to put crippling sanctions on Iran and make sure Israel has the resources it needs to defend itself against Hamas, Rep. John James said on Newsmax Wednesday. “This administration is failing at every step to hold Iran and these evildoers accountable, using every means, not just military, but economic and diplomatic as well,” the Michigan Republican told Newsmax’s “Newsline.” “I’m supporting bills that are coming through this week to hold Iran accountable and to make sure the $6 billion that is unfrozen can never be spent by Iran to hurt Americans or our Israeli friends again.” James said he had the “honor and privilege” to visit Israel earlier this month and speak with families whose loved ones were kidnapped, including the family of one girl who has since been released, 9-year-old Emily Hand, who had her birthday on Nov. 17 while still in Hamas captivity. Thomas Hand, her father, told CNN that she would only speak in whispers, as the children were told not to make noise. “I had to put my ear close to her mouth to hear,” he said. “In captivity, she was told not to make any noise. You can see the terror in her eyes.” “It is absolutely unconscionable what these evil, evil men and women have done to innocents, using these hostages, these human lives as shields and pawns to be played in their evil war,” said James. “Make no mistake, when they say death to America and death to Israel, they mean it. They’re pulling little girls and boys into their evil activities.” James also spoke out about antisemitic comments and actions that have been seen in the United States. “I believe that antisemitism in every single form is wrong,” he said. “I hate bigotry.” He noted that during a recent congressional hearing, “one of those members from the Biden administration said something along the lines of ‘casual antisemitism’ and I corrected her. There’s no such thing as casual antisemitism.” James said he thinks that “attitude on the left” has allowed a wave of antisemitism to take over the nation’s college campuses. “We’ve known that these college campuses and universities have been taking our children and changing their minds, almost brainwashing them for generations,” he said. “Now this is what we have. We absolutely have to stand up to bigotry and hatred … the best way we can do that is to stand with our allies in Israel and make sure that they have every resource that they need to defend themselves. |
President of Media Watchdog Reportedly Swatted Over ‘Doxxing’ Truck That Exposed Pro-Hamas College Kids
There are many people responsible for exposing the pro-terrorist scum in our schools and the students who signed anti-Israel letters that read like pure propaganda copy from Hamas. And when made public, these social justice warriors wither under pressure, especially when job offers and opportunities are withdrawn. It’s not ‘cancel culture;’ free speech carries a heavy price. If they genuinely felt Israel was a colonizing force for evil and that the Jewish state was to blame for Hamas’ October 7 attacks that left 1,200-1,400 Israeli men, women, and children dead— they should have stuck with this position into poverty. Instead, many withdrew their names. John Hasson did an excellent job finding these people, with Accuracy in Media having a “doxxing” truck parked outside of Ivy League universities listing these pro-Hamas students. And yes, students were triggered by the vehicle, going into insane meltdowns over its presence on campus:

Israel Assessing Hamas’ Claim That Youngest Hostage And Family Members Have Been Killed
Soft teddy bears with their eyes covered and showing signs of injury are displayed to highlight the young children and babies currently missing, believed to be being held hostage, by Hamas, on October 25, 2023 in Tel Aviv, Israel. As Israel seems poised to invade the Gaza Strip in its campaign to vanquish Hamas, the Palestinian militant group that launched a deadly attack in southern Israel on October 7th, worries are growing of a wider war with multiple fronts, including at the country’s northern border with Lebanon. Countries have scrambled to evacuate their citizens from Israel, and Israel has begun relocating residents some communities on its northern border. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of residents of northern Gaza have fled to the southern part of the territory, following Israel’s vow to launch a ground invasion. (Photo by Leon Neal/Getty Images) The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it was evaluating a Hamas claim that the youngest Israeli hostage, 10-month-old Kfir Bibas, as well as his brother and mother were killed during an Israeli airstrike in Gaza. On Wednesday, the terrorist group Hamas made a claim, without providing evidence, that 10-month-old Kfir Bibas had been murdered alongside his 4-year-old brother, Ariel, and their mother, Shiri, in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza prior to the truce that began six days ago. The three Israelis have been held hostage in Gaza by Hamas since the start of the war on October 7th.
Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ armed wing, made an announcement saying that the three Israeli hostages were killed in an Israeli bombardment. They have yet to provide evidence of their deaths. The IDF stated that it was assessing Hamas’ claim. However, relatives of the three Israeli hostages said that they were “waiting for the news to be confirmed or hopefully refuted soon” about their family members.
During an interview with Israel’s Channel 12, Shiri’s cousin, Jimmy Miller, stated that the IDF had alerted the family of Hamas’ allegations.
The Bibas family made a statement regarding their family members who have been held hostage and the statement was provided by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum.
This comes after Hamas stated that they are willing to lengthen the truce for four additional days. They claim that this would allow them time to locate and release more Israeli hostages held by other terror organizations. The deadly conflict between Israel and Hamas, which was sparked by the terrorist group’s October 7th massacre of 1,200 Israelis and foreigners, is scheduled to end early on Thursday following a six-day ceasefire. Ten more prisoners are also set to be released on Wednesday night before the temporary truce ends at 7 a.m. on Thursday. As of today, 89 prisoners total have been freed. Stay informed! Jack Smith Sends Search Warrant To X, Requesting To See Every User That Interacted With Trump image
In a search warrant served to X, formerly Twitter, Special Counsel Jack Smith sought a plethora of data regarding the account of former President Donald Trump, as well as details on the millions of social media accounts that engaged with him, including those that liked any of Trump’s tweets between October 2020 and January 2021. A list of every user and account who liked or retweeted one of Trump’s posts between October 2020 and January 2021 is requested in the heavily redacted search warrant, along with “all associated logs and metadata,” which may include location information, among other things. The DOJ would have access to data on millions of American customers as a result of this incredibly expansive request. According to the New York Post, X first put off granting the request, which led to a $350,000 fine being levied against the platform. In addition, a list of all the devices used to log into Trump’s account and any IP addresses connected to it is requested in the warrant. This implies that the information would have been disclosed to the special prosecutor by any employee or assistant who logged into the account. They demanded access to every bit of data on Trump’s “connect” and “notification” tabs, including search history, blocks, mutes, and even draft tweets. X (Twitter) was also directed by the warrant not to inform Trump about the search order. The company made an unsuccessful attempt to overcome this in court. Smith had argued in counter-arguments that “there is reason to believe notification to the former president, a sophisticated actor with an expansive platform, would result in a statutorily cognizable harm.”

Linda Sarsour's Viral Vile Antisemtic Rant About Those Hostage Posters
We've seen a lot of ugliness from the anti-Israel activists in New York City, including things like trying to kick in the doors of Grand Central Station as well as ripping down the American flag and replacing it with the Palestinian one on the eve of Veterans Day. In amongst all the bad we’re seeing from the leftist anti-Israel activists, I would be remiss if I didn’t note the reemergence of an old, familiar voice. Familiar, not in a good way. Sarsour has remarks from the past week that are going viral because they seem to hit every antisemitic trope they can. She was speaking in New York City about those kidnapping posters that have been put all over the city to remind people about the innocent people who are still being held hostage by Hamas. They include pictures of babies and grandmothers. Yet the images are too much for some who hate. We've seen instance after instance of people ripping them down. Something is wrong with you when you are ripping down a poster seeking to recover a kidnapped baby. But according to Sarsour, the problem isn't the people ripping down the posters as much as the "provocateurs" putting up the posters trying to make the people rip them down to get them into trouble. Guess who the provocateurs are. "They" are everywhere. She reminds the "good people" there are "provocateurs all across the city." "And what they're waiting for you to do is to waste your energy ripping down their little posters so they can record you and try to get you fired from your job," Sarsour declared. She tells the "good people" not to be "hoodwinked" by these provocateurs to do something that's going to get them in trouble. Then Sarsour really went over the edge. "They have their little people all around the city. Trust me, I know them. I've got a radar for them...You think they are ordinary people. Trust me when I tell you they are everywhere. They're on your college campus. They're outside the supermarket. They're outside Grand Central Station. So stay focused and do not be distracted by the opposition." Yikes. "They" are everywhere? Who is "they," Linda? And she has a "radar" for them? Did she just say she has a radar to spot Jews? And, of course, the evil people to her aren't the "good people" who would rip the posters down; it's the people who put them up. Somehow, caring about kidnapped babies is "provoking." And she's telling these good folks not to rip the posters down, not because it's wrong and evil to do something like that, but because they might get in trouble. This may be some of the worst antisemitic bilge that she's ever spilled, and that's saying something. This is the same "lady'" whom the Obama administration recognized as a "Champion of Change."
She's for some kind of change, alright. But this is who Democrats have embraced and even honored.

😂🤡 Megan Rapinoe's Final Game Ends Badly, and She Mocks God Because She's an Obnoxious Clown
😂🤡 Is Megan Rapinoe the most obnoxious athlete in the history of sports? If there was any question, I'd say this latest example of just how awful she is clinches the top spot for her. Rapinoe played the final game of her professional career on Sunday, and it ended with her on the sidelines with an injury. Within the first few minutes, she apparently tore her Achilles, a serious injury that takes about a year to heal. In the post-game presser, she decided the right response to that situation was to mock God. You know, because it's his fault or something.
Isn't she just a joy to watch? Surely, what the United States really needs is one of its national athletes insulting over half the nation's religious beliefs. What a rousing show of unity and respect that will draw more viewers to a sport that most people already don't pay attention to. I do love how she's blaming God for everything. That would be the God whom she doesn't believe exists and whose word she violates purposely, maliciously, and with glee on a daily basis. Apparently, he is just supposed to be some magic genie that makes her life go well with no reciprocation at all. That's not how it works anyway, but still, you have to marvel at the arrogance. That's indicative of Rapinoe's wider worldview. She's an incredibly selfish person, and that's evidenced by how she constantly makes every situation involving her team about herself. Her team just lost a championship game 2-1 and all she cares about is that she didn't get to finish the game. She's so easy to root against because she makes herself so easy to root against. Forget national pride. If these are the types of people we are putting at the forefront, then it's not deserved. |
Good News: IDF Eliminates Top Hamas Commander Who Held 1,000 Palestinian Civilians as Human Shields
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have wiped out another key Hamas leader as the conflict in Gaza presses on. In a significant development, the Israeli military killed Ahmed Siam, who was reportedly holding about 1,000 Palestinian civilians hostage in a Gaza hospital. The operation that killed Siam was part of a larger IDF action in the Gaza Strip, which also eliminated 150 Hamas terrorists in one battle and brought about the destruction of Hamas’ Outpost “Badr.”
"Siam was a commander in Hamas' Naser Radwan Company, and is another example of Hamas using civilians in Gaza as human shields for terrorist purposes," the last line of the tweet reads. Siam was one of the primary Hamas terrorists responsible for preventing Palestinians in Gaza from fleeing the region to avoid getting caught in the crossfire of the war between Israel and the terrorist organization. The operation to kill Siam was the result of a collaboration between the IDF and the Israeli security agency The Shin Bet using ground and air forces. This development comes amid calls from the left in the Western world for Israel to stop its assault in Gaza, citing civilian deaths. However, the Jewish state’s resolve remains firm. During an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended Israel’s actions, arguing that the blame for civilian deaths lies “squarely on Hamas.” He also discussed how the terrorist group prevents civilians from fleeing from war zones and uses civilian buildings like schools and hospitals for military purposes. Israeli War Cabinet Minister Benny Gantz echoed Netanyahu’s sentiments. He stressed that Hamas is responsible for the problems faced by Gaza’s residents. Unfortunately, no matter how much evidence is presented of Hamas’ abuse of Palestinian civilians, there will still be some claiming Israel is the primary party at fault for the death of noncombatants. Still, the fact of the matter is that there can be no peace between Israel and the Palestinians until Hamas is no longer a reality. |
Israeli Defense Minister: 'What We Can Do in Gaza, We Can Also Do in Beirut'
It’s not the first time we’ve heard this report. Hezbollah’s increased attacks in northern Israel in the wake of the Israeli war with Hamas is making another front likely once the operations in the Gaza Strip have concluded. The terror group’s increased activity in northern Israel has led to a score of Israelis fleeing to the south. With the October 7 attacks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has a mandate to execute all military operations to enhance the security of the Jewish state from radical Islamic terrorists. From the lefty Labor voter to the Likud supporter, they are in lockstep behind any military operations. When Israel announced they would not be leaving the Gaza Strip once they’ve either eliminated or degraded Hamas to the point of irrelevancy, handling security responsibilities in the region, talk from the IDF brass turned to Lebanon, where there is also strong support for a military incursion to remove the Hezbollah threat. CNN had a decent segment on this development last week, backed up by Alon Ben-David, senior defense correspondent for Israel’s Channel 13 news. He said top IDF brass thinks a war in Lebanon is “inevitable” (via Channel 13):
The Jerusalem Post has more, with The Wall Street Journal adding that the Israeli Air Force is now increasingly more focused on Lebanon:
Given the brutality of the October 7 attacks, Israel will not cease any military operation until they feel secure, as they should. |
FBI Investigates Potential Turkish Government Ties to Eric Adams Mayoral Campaign
New York City Mayor Eric Adams has spoken out about his role in the new Turkish consulate building project amid reports that he pressured the city to approve the building despite safety concerns. Following his victory in the 2021 Democratic mayoral primary, Adams (D-N.Y.), who was Brooklyn’s borough president at the time, reportedly contacted Daniel Nigro, the then New York City fire commissioner. Adams allegedly then urged Nigro to allow Turkish government officials to utilize the unopened building. The structure had faced delays as fire department officials had withheld approval due to safety concerns, according to sources cited by The New York Times. OAN has not independently verified the Times report. Adams said in a statement Sunday via campaign spokesperson Evan Thies that part of his role as Brooklyn borough president was to “notify government agencies of issues on behalf of constituents and constituencies.”
City Hall Chief Counsel Lisa Zornberg echoed that statement on Sunday, saying that Adams and her team are cooperating with investigators.
As part of an ongoing inquiry into campaign fundraising, FBI agents seized multiple electronic devices from Mayor Adams earlier this week. The mayor’s team asserted that it had voluntarily informed authorities about an individual involved in the federal investigation who had engaged in improper conduct. During a recent news conference, Adams expressed skepticism, stating he would be “shocked” if investigators uncover any evidence of his campaign coordinating illegal activities. Text exchanges between Adams, Daniel Nigro, and Turkish Consul General Reyhan Özgür from September 2021 hinted at the possibility that the mayor played a role in expediting the opening of the Turkish government’s new building, according to sources cited by the New York Post. However, these sources also noted that the texts did not appear to reveal any criminal activity. In the text messages, Özgür reportedly asked Adams if he could help the building receive a “temporary certificate of occupancy” from the city’s fire department, according to the sources’ descriptions of the text messages, and Adams then asked Nigro to look into it, but didn’t instruct him to do anything in particular. Adams reportedly more than $2 million for his re-election campaign in 2025. Adams, formerly a New York Police Department captain, had campaigned as a tough-on-crime Democrat who would increase the city’s police staffing and funding. In July, charges were brought against six individuals in connection with an alleged plan to channel tens of thousands of dollars to Adams’ campaign through straw donors, individuals whose names were used to bypass individual donation limits. Two of the individuals pleaded guilty. These allegations, filed in state court, did not directly implicate Adams, and his representatives have maintained that he was unaware of the purported scheme. Cartoonist: Wash Post's Removal of Work Blow to Free Speech
Leftist Radicals have no sense of humor? |
Two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist Michael Ramirez, whose work appears in The Washington Post, said Friday the newspaper's decision to remove his latest cartoon over cries that it was racist is "a blow against ... the freedom of speech."
The cartoon featured a caricature of a Hamas spokesman with three children and a woman tied to him by rope and a baby tied to his head. He is standing next to the Palestinian flag on one side and a portrait of a bearded man and a mosque on the other. In a text bubble, he says, "HOW DARE ISRAEL ATTACK CIVILIANS."
The cartoon appears to reflect accusations that Hamas terrorists, who carried out an attack Oct. 7 in southern Israel that massacred more than 1,400 Israelis, use civilians as human shields.
According to an editor's note Thursday by David Shipley, the Post's opinion editor, Shipley initially approved the cartoon for publication, but he wrote "It was seen by many readers as racist. This was not my intent. I saw the drawing as a caricature of a specific individual, the Hamas spokesperson who celebrated the attacks on unarmed civilians in Israel."
"When the intellectually indolent try to defend the indefensible, they always seem to resort to playing the race card," Ramirez said in an interview with The Washington Free Beacon. "They're trying to claim that this caricature is a racial exercise, when in its specificity, it is Ghazi Hamad, who is a senior Hamas official, who went on Lebanese television praising the brutal Oct. 7 attack and systematic slaughter of women, children, and men, and pledged to do it over and over again until the annihilation of Israel.
"I am presenting this because I think this is a blow against democracy and the freedom of speech. I'm a big believer that America has to have the free expression of ideas to advance thinking."
Soon after Shipley removed the cartoon and replaced it with his editor's note, The Wall Street Journal reported Post Executive Editor Sally Buzbee alerted staff of the cartoon's removal "given the many deep concerns and conversations today in our newsroom."
Ramirez told the Free Beacon he "thought about quitting" after the paper's decision but decided to stay for the time being, saying that he "did not want it to appear that this cancel culture had succeeded in pushing me out of the job."
Ramirez joined the Post in May in an agreement that allows him to publish his cartoons in the Post and Las Vegas Review-Journal, where he has worked since 2018. The cartoon the Post pulled still appears on the Review-Journal's website. He said he plans to produce "a couple more cartoons" for the Post and "see what the landscape looks like" before determining "whether or not to continue this relationship."
"You don't have to be a mind-reading person to think that this was going to occur," Ramirez told the Free Beacon. "It just seems to be the way these newsrooms are politically designed."
Biden Gets Scorched - by Republicans and Democrats - for Refusing to Sanction Hamas
The Biden administration is coming under well-deserved scrutiny for refusing to levy sanctions against Hamas for using civilians as human shields in its war against Israel. The terrorist group has used this tactic for decades. But in this current conflict, it has also been criticized for deliberately putting the lives of Palestinian civilians in danger. Still, President Joe Biden, despite expressing support for Israel after the war started on October 7 when Hamas launched its initial surprise attack, doesn’t seem too keen on the idea of sanctioning the terrorist organization.
Several lawmakers, led by Reps. Mike Gallagher (R-WI), and Brad Sherman (D-CA), have expressed concerns about Biden’s lack of action in this area. They are calling on the administration to impose and enforce sanctions on the terrorist group for endangering Palestinian civilians, which is required under the 2018 Sanctioning the Use of Civilians as Defenseless Shields Act. The law mandates that the president compile an annual list of individuals, organizations, or other entities who use human shields, then sanction them. Further in the letter, the lawmakers noted that “while the U.S. government has taken measures to combat Hamas and Hezbollah in recent years, it has yet to sanction Hamas and Hezbollah leaders for their use of human shields.” The lawmakers also argued that sanctioning Hamas officials “would send a message to officials of Hamas, Hezbollah, the Taliban, the Islamic State, Russia, and other prolific users of human shields that there is now a price to be paid for engaging in this horrific war crime.” Interestingly enough, the United States and Israel have been pressuring the European Union to impose new sanctions on Hamas. However, the E.U.’s response has been inconsistent, with some diplomats pointing out that unanimous backing for new sanctions is tricky because of the sensitive nature of the Israel-Hamas war and the supposed lack of evidence against individual Hamas leaders. At this point, it doesn’t make sense for the Biden administration to remain hesitant about taking action against Hamas. In other cases, people have argued against sanctions on authoritarian regimes like North Korea, Venezuela, and others because it would only harm the people being oppressed by these governments. However, in Hamas’ case, they already prevent Palestinian civilians from getting the resources they need; sanctions would have a limited impact on them. It might not be clear exactly how painful sanctions would be for Hamas and its leaders. But if we want this war to end, applying as much pressure as possible might be the right course of action. |
Leftists AG Letitia James Faces Heat for Attending Trump's Trial
New York Attorney General Letitia James faces criticism after making several appearances at former President Trump's civil trial— something AGs don't usually attend. After suing Trump, his children, and the Trump Organization last year, James made at least five appearances at the courthouse in New York City last week. However, after reports surfaced criticizing her attendance on Thursday, she was a no-show. More on James' inappropriate and unusual appearances at the trial from Fox News legal editor Kerri Kupec Urbahn:
The Democrat AG alleges that Trump misled banks and others about the value of his assets. Earlier this week, his daughter, Ivanka Trump, testified that she was neither aware nor involved in discussions surrounding her father's financial holdings. Before recessing for the weekend, the 45th president's legal team asked the judge to make a directed verdict and end the trial. They claim James' office has failed to prove its case because there is no evidence of fraud, no victims, and no violations of covenants. RecommendedJames has continued to fuel her political persecution of Trump outside of the courthouse as well. She wrote on social media that "Donald Trump will continue to lie and claim that he did nothing wrong," adding that "the truth is we already proved he committed years of financial fraud, and there are consequences for breaking the law." However, social media users were quick to call out the hypocritical Democrat regarding her own financials.

Trump Was Right, Joe Biden Will Lead the U.S. Into WWIII
Under President Joe Biden's time in office, the United States has been at the forefront of two wars— both of which he has expedited at the hands of his disastrous policies.
However, before any of these wars began, former President Trump predicted the outcome of Biden's presidency.
Earlier this week, Trump issued a stark warning to Mexico that if the world would eject into WWIII, the country would "no longer be around."
"And if World War III happens, probably Mexico will no longer be around," Trump told Univision Noticias host Enrique Acevedo. "Because the power of nuclear weapons is so big, if they hit us, you're gonna be wiped out too. That's how bad it is."
Last month, Trump warned that a third world war is imminent following Hamas's invasion of Israel.
The 45th president painted a grim picture of what the U.S. might look like if Biden's weakness continues to allow enemies to attack other countries. He said that such a war would be the deadliest the world has seen, pointing to advancements in weapons.
"That won't be a war with army tanks going back and forth, too," Trump said. "That will be a war with weaponry the likes of which this world has never seen before ... I know it. I know it better than anybody."
He added that the Democratic Party is quick to push so-called "climate change," but the real threat the U.S. faces is "nuclear warming."
Recommended
The former president cautioned that nuclear weapons will be the heart of a potential third world war, and the fact that "we have a man that doesn't know what a nuclear weapon is as our chief negotiator" is a "very scary thing."
Trump was predicting WWIII far before any of the above happened.
And last September, the former president highlighted many of Biden's failures during a North Carolina rally.
Citing the president's damaging economic policies, Trump also pointed to Biden's cognitive decline, saying that the 80-year-old is in no position to "lead our country, which may very well end up in World War III."
Trump's predictions are rarely wrong, so every American should fear that the country may no longer be the one we know and love if Biden secures another four years in office.
FBI Makes Bold Statement In Investigation Against Dem Eric Adams
New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) had his phone seized by the FBI as the agency continues its investigation into whether his 2021 campaign received illegal donations from the Turkish government. On Friday, FBI agents with a court-authorized warrant reportedly stopped Adams on the street, requesting his security detail to step aside. The group then proceeded to enter his SUV, where they seized his cell phone and an iPad. In a statement, Adams' campaign attorney, Boyd Johnson, remained innocent on behalf of the mayor.
The FBI’s approach in daylight to Adams marks a significant turn in their investigation. Following the seizure of his devices, the Democrat mayor insisted that he has nothing to hide and will cooperate with authorities. Last week, FBI agents searched the home of Adams’ campaign consultant. They seized three iPhones, two laptops, personal documents, and other evidence. According to the New York Times, the FBI also confiscated a “manila folder labeled Eric Adams" and seven "contribution card binders.” RecommendedShe has been known to be a key figure in Adams’ inner circle, earning more than $150,000 from the mayor’s campaign. More from the New York Times on the investigation:

Mayor Eric Adams’s Electronic Devices Seized By FBI
As part of an intensified corruption probe against New York City mayor Eric Adams’ 2021 campaign, the FBI confiscated electronic devices, including two or more cellphones, according to a New York Times (NYT) article published on Friday. Advertisement It comes after an FBI search of the residence of Adams’s primary campaign fundraiser, Brianna Suggs, which occurred earlier this month. During this period, investigators allegedly seized three cellphones and two laptop systems. Prior reports claimed that Adams and his campaign staff had frequently turned down requests from authorities to reveal the source of around $300,000 in donations, however, it was unclear if this investigation included any allegations of breaking campaign finance laws. The NYT described how FBI agents took “at least two cellphones and an iPad” that belonged to Adams earlier this week. This was days after the November 2nd raid that took place at 25-year-old Brianna Suggs’ residence. The outlet was informed by insider sources that when agents approached Adams on the street, they ordered his security detail to move aside. They then entered his car and took the devices with the permission of a warrant that was granted by the court. The document also stated that he received all of the equipment back “within a matter of days” and that the FBI was able to duplicate the data on the devices thanks to the warrant. Adams, a former captain in the New York Police Department, released a statement through his spokesperson on Friday afternoon expressing how he had cooperated with authorities.
Boyd Johnson, his campaign attorney, also posted a statement of his own.
However, he did not elaborate further on just who the individual was or what they had done specifically that was illegal. One detail that was shared with reporters was how the investigation now serves to discover if Adams’s 2021 campaign efforts “conspired with the Turkish government and others to funnel money into its coffers.” The warrant also stated that it was looking for information on donations made by Bay Atlantic University, a Turkish-founded college in Washington, D.C., which is connected to a school that Adams is rumored to have visited during his 2015 trip to Turkey as the president of the Brooklyn Borough Council. The City, a local news website in New York City, stated that the donations that were claimed earlier to be under investigation were from about 500 distinct individuals.
