Linda Sarsour's Viral Vile Antisemtic Rant About Those Hostage Posters

We've seen a lot of ugliness from the anti-Israel activists in New York City, including things like trying to kick in the doors of Grand Central Station as well as ripping down the American flag and replacing it with the Palestinian one on the eve of Veterans Day. 

In amongst all the bad we’re seeing from the leftist anti-Israel activists, I would be remiss if I didn’t note the reemergence of an old, familiar voice. Familiar, not in a good way. 

Sarsour has remarks from the past week that are going viral because they seem to hit every antisemitic trope they can. She was speaking in New York City about those kidnapping posters that have been put all over the city to remind people about the innocent people who are still being held hostage by Hamas. They include pictures of babies and grandmothers. Yet the images are too much for some who hate. We've seen instance after instance of people ripping them down. Something is wrong with you when you are ripping down a poster seeking to recover a kidnapped baby. 

But according to Sarsour, the problem isn't the people ripping down the posters as much as the "provocateurs" putting up the posters trying to make the people rip them down to get them into trouble. Guess who the provocateurs are. "They" are everywhere. 

She reminds the "good people" there are "provocateurs all across the city." 

"And what they're waiting for you to do is to waste your energy ripping down their little posters so they can record you and try to get you fired from your job," Sarsour declared. She tells the "good people" not to be "hoodwinked" by these provocateurs to do something that's going to get them in trouble. 

Then Sarsour really went over the edge. "They have their little people all around the city. Trust me, I know them. I've got a radar for them...You think they are ordinary people. Trust me when I tell you they are everywhere. They're on your college campus. They're outside the supermarket. They're outside Grand Central Station. So stay focused and do not be distracted by the opposition." 

Yikes. "They" are everywhere? Who is "they," Linda? And she has a "radar" for them? Did she just say she has a radar to spot Jews? And, of course, the evil people to her aren't the "good people" who would rip the posters down; it's the people who put them up. Somehow, caring about kidnapped babies is "provoking." And she's telling these good folks not to rip the posters down, not because it's wrong and evil to do something like that, but because they might get in trouble. 

This may be some of the worst antisemitic bilge that she's ever spilled, and that's saying something. This is the same "lady'" whom the Obama administration recognized as a "Champion of Change."

😂🤡 Megan Rapinoe's Final Game Ends Badly, and She Mocks God Because She's an Obnoxious Clown

Is Megan Rapinoe the most obnoxious athlete in the history of sports? If there was any question, I'd say this latest example of just how awful she is clinches the top spot for her. 

Rapinoe played the final game of her professional career on Sunday, and it ended with her on the sidelines with an injury. Within the first few minutes, she apparently tore her Achilles, a serious injury that takes about a year to heal. 

In the post-game presser, she decided the right response to that situation was to mock God. You know, because it's his fault or something. 

RAPINOE: This is a long one, although I'm gonna get the Aaron Rodgers treatment, whatever that is. So I'm going to be calling him, whoever did his surgery because we need to speed this up. I thought about it a little bit. I mean, I'm not a religious person or anything, and if there was a God, this is proof that there isn't. This is ****** up. So, yeah, this is ****** up because, you know, six minutes in and ******* eating my Achilles. Let me know, what the ****.

Isn't she just a joy to watch? Surely, what the United States really needs is one of its national athletes insulting over half the nation's religious beliefs. What a rousing show of unity and respect that will draw more viewers to a sport that most people already don't pay attention to.

I do love how she's blaming God for everything. That would be the God whom she doesn't believe exists and whose word she violates purposely, maliciously, and with glee on a daily basis. Apparently, he is just supposed to be some magic genie that makes her life go well with no reciprocation at all. That's not how it works anyway, but still, you have to marvel at the arrogance.

That's indicative of Rapinoe's wider worldview. She's an incredibly selfish person, and that's evidenced by how she constantly makes every situation involving her team about herself. Her team just lost a championship game 2-1 and all she cares about is that she didn't get to finish the game. She's so easy to root against because she makes herself so easy to root against. Forget national pride. If these are the types of people we are putting at the forefront, then it's not deserved. 

 

Good News: IDF Eliminates Top Hamas Commander Who Held 1,000 Palestinian Civilians as Human Shields

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have wiped out another key Hamas leader as the conflict in Gaza presses on. In a significant development, the Israeli military killed Ahmed Siam, who was reportedly holding about 1,000 Palestinian civilians hostage in a Gaza hospital.

The operation that killed Siam was part of a larger IDF action in the Gaza Strip, which also eliminated 150 Hamas terrorists in one battle and brought about the destruction of Hamas’ Outpost “Badr.”

The IDF eliminated Ahmed Siam, a company commander of Hamas’s Naser Radwan Company. Siam was responsible for holding approximately 1,000 Gazan residents hostage in Gaza’s Rantisi Hospital preventing them from evacuating south to safety, the IDF said on Saturday.

The assassination was coordinated by the IDF and the Shin Bet, including ground and air forces.

Though announced Saturday, IDF aircraft struck Siam two days ago. He was killed while hiding in the “al Buraq” school, where additional terrorists under his command were also hiding and were killed.

Siam was a commander in Hamas' Naser Radwan Company, and is another example of Hamas using civilians in Gaza as human shields for terrorist purposes.

“Siam demonstrates once again that Hamas uses the civilians of the Gaza Strip as human shields for terror purposes,” the IDF said.

Siam was one of the primary Hamas terrorists responsible for preventing Palestinians in Gaza from fleeing the region to avoid getting caught in the crossfire of the war between Israel and the terrorist organization. The operation to kill Siam was the result of a collaboration between the IDF and the Israeli security agency The Shin Bet using ground and air forces.

This development comes amid calls from the left in the Western world for Israel to stop its assault in Gaza, citing civilian deaths. However, the Jewish state’s resolve remains firm. During an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended Israel’s actions, arguing that the blame for civilian deaths lies “squarely on Hamas.” He also discussed how the terrorist group prevents civilians from fleeing from war zones and uses civilian buildings like schools and hospitals for military purposes.

Israeli War Cabinet Minister Benny Gantz echoed Netanyahu’s sentiments. He stressed that Hamas is responsible for the problems faced by Gaza’s residents.

Unfortunately, no matter how much evidence is presented of Hamas’ abuse of Palestinian civilians, there will still be some claiming Israel is the primary party at fault for the death of noncombatants. Still, the fact of the matter is that there can be no peace between Israel and the Palestinians until Hamas is no longer a reality.

 

Israeli Defense Minister: 'What We Can Do in Gaza, We Can Also Do in Beirut'

It’s not the first time we’ve heard this report. Hezbollah’s increased attacks in northern Israel in the wake of the Israeli war with Hamas is making another front likely once the operations in the Gaza Strip have concluded. The terror group’s increased activity in northern Israel has led to a score of Israelis fleeing to the south. 

With the October 7 attacks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has a mandate to execute all military operations to enhance the security of the Jewish state from radical Islamic terrorists. From the lefty Labor voter to the Likud supporter, they are in lockstep behind any military operations. 

When Israel announced they would not be leaving the Gaza Strip once they’ve either eliminated or degraded Hamas to the point of irrelevancy, handling security responsibilities in the region, talk from the IDF brass turned to Lebanon, where there is also strong support for a military incursion to remove the Hezbollah threat. CNN had a decent segment on this development last week, backed up by Alon Ben-David, senior defense correspondent for Israel’s Channel 13 news. He said top IDF brass thinks a war in Lebanon is “inevitable” (via Channel 13):

The Jerusalem Post has more, with The Wall Street Journal adding that the Israeli Air Force is now increasingly more focused on Lebanon: 

"Hezbollah is dragging Lebanon to a possible war, and is making mistakes," Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said at a situational assessment near the Lebanese border Saturday, adding that the Lebanese citizens would be the first to pay the price for this kind of mistake. "What we can do in Gaza, we can also do in Beirut." 

In his speech, made alongside the commander of the IDF's Division 91 and other senior officers serving in the region, the defense minister stated that Hezbollah is no longer making just provocations, but aggression, following several exchanges of fire over the border throughout October and early November. 

"Our pilots are sitting in their cockpits, their aircraft facing north," Gallant said, stressing that the IDF already has mobilized enough forces for its goals in the South against Hamas, and the Israel Air Force has plenty of power to spare. "We haven't even used 10% of the IAF's power in Gaza." 

Given the brutality of the October 7 attacks, Israel will not cease any military operation until they feel secure, as they should.  

FBI Investigates Potential Turkish Government Ties to Eric Adams Mayoral Campaign

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has spoken out about his role in the new Turkish consulate building project amid reports that he pressured the city to approve the building despite safety concerns.

Following his victory in the 2021 Democratic mayoral primary, Adams (D-N.Y.), who was Brooklyn’s borough president at the time, reportedly contacted Daniel Nigro, the then New York City fire commissioner.

Adams allegedly then urged Nigro to allow Turkish government officials to utilize the unopened building. The structure had faced delays as fire department officials had withheld approval due to safety concerns, according to sources cited by The New York Times.

OAN has not independently verified the Times report.

Adams said in a statement Sunday via campaign spokesperson Evan Thies that part of his role as Brooklyn borough president was to “notify government agencies of issues on behalf of constituents and constituencies.”

“I have not been accused of wrongdoing and I will continue to cooperate with investigators,” he said.

City Hall Chief Counsel Lisa Zornberg echoed that statement on Sunday, saying that Adams and her team are cooperating with investigators.

“We hope that investigators will continue to cooperate with us and reprimand any federal officer who has improperly leaked details about this investigation,” Zornberg said, “as such conduct could prejudice the public and undermines the integrity of our law enforcement process.”

As part of an ongoing inquiry into campaign fundraising, FBI agents seized multiple electronic devices from Mayor Adams earlier this week. The mayor’s team asserted that it had voluntarily informed authorities about an individual involved in the federal investigation who had engaged in improper conduct. 

During a recent news conference, Adams expressed skepticism, stating he would be “shocked” if investigators uncover any evidence of his campaign coordinating illegal activities.

Text exchanges between Adams, Daniel Nigro, and Turkish Consul General Reyhan Özgür from September 2021 hinted at the possibility that the mayor played a role in expediting the opening of the Turkish government’s new building, according to sources cited by the New York Post. However, these sources also noted that the texts did not appear to reveal any criminal activity.

In the text messages, Özgür reportedly asked Adams if he could help the building receive a “temporary certificate of occupancy” from the city’s fire department, according to the sources’ descriptions of the text messages, and Adams then asked Nigro to look into it, but didn’t instruct him to do anything in particular.

Adams reportedly more than $2 million for his re-election campaign in 2025. Adams, formerly a New York Police Department captain, had campaigned as a tough-on-crime Democrat who would increase the city’s police staffing and funding.

In July, charges were brought against six individuals in connection with an alleged plan to channel tens of thousands of dollars to Adams’ campaign through straw donors, individuals whose names were used to bypass individual donation limits. Two of the individuals pleaded guilty.

These allegations, filed in state court, did not directly implicate Adams, and his representatives have maintained that he was unaware of the purported scheme.

Cartoonist: Wash Post's Removal of Work Blow to Free Speech

Leftist Radicals have no sense of humor?

Two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial cartoonist Michael Ramirez, whose work appears in The Washington Post, said Friday the newspaper's decision to remove his latest cartoon over cries that it was racist is "a blow against ... the freedom of speech."

The cartoon featured a caricature of a Hamas spokesman with three children and a woman tied to him by rope and a baby tied to his head. He is standing next to the Palestinian flag on one side and a portrait of a bearded man and a mosque on the other. In a text bubble, he says, "HOW DARE ISRAEL ATTACK CIVILIANS."

The cartoon appears to reflect accusations that Hamas terrorists, who carried out an attack Oct. 7 in southern Israel that massacred more than 1,400 Israelis, use civilians as human shields.

According to an editor's note Thursday by David Shipley, the Post's opinion editor, Shipley initially approved the cartoon for publication, but he wrote "It was seen by many readers as racist. This was not my intent. I saw the drawing as a caricature of a specific individual, the Hamas spokesperson who celebrated the attacks on unarmed civilians in Israel."

"When the intellectually indolent try to defend the indefensible, they always seem to resort to playing the race card," Ramirez said in an interview with The Washington Free Beacon. "They're trying to claim that this caricature is a racial exercise, when in its specificity, it is Ghazi Hamad, who is a senior Hamas official, who went on Lebanese television praising the brutal Oct. 7 attack and systematic slaughter of women, children, and men, and pledged to do it over and over again until the annihilation of Israel.

"I am presenting this because I think this is a blow against democracy and the freedom of speech. I'm a big believer that America has to have the free expression of ideas to advance thinking."

Soon after Shipley removed the cartoon and replaced it with his editor's note, The Wall Street Journal reported Post Executive Editor Sally Buzbee alerted staff of the cartoon's removal "given the many deep concerns and conversations today in our newsroom."

Ramirez told the Free Beacon he "thought about quitting" after the paper's decision but decided to stay for the time being, saying that he "did not want it to appear that this cancel culture had succeeded in pushing me out of the job."

Ramirez joined the Post in May in an agreement that allows him to publish his cartoons in the Post and Las Vegas Review-Journal, where he has worked since 2018. The cartoon the Post pulled still appears on the Review-Journal's website. He said he plans to produce "a couple more cartoons" for the Post and "see what the landscape looks like" before determining "whether or not to continue this relationship."

"You don't have to be a mind-reading person to think that this was going to occur," Ramirez told the Free Beacon. "It just seems to be the way these newsrooms are politically designed."
